Search Resumes for Brian and Nikko

10:00 p.m. ET:

This Saturday evening report and video give information about Saturday's search and of the climbers' gear that was found. Obviously it is a big disappointment that they did not find Brian and Nikko today. At the same time, it is deeply encouraging that so many search volunteers turned out and that they haven't given up on their hope of finding and bringing the two missing climbers home and giving closure to their grieving families.

I pray God will lead the searchers where to look. And Brian and Jerry will come home.

I still think of you all often and are praying for their recovery.

I waited with the world, hoping against hope that they would be found alive, but dispaired when the weather prevented it and the search was called off. When will they be able to recover their bodies so their families can move on with their lives?

I am a dear friend of Brian Hall and I had the opportunity to travel to Mt. Hood this summer to do some hiking and try to get a little closure. Myself and another close friend of Brians took a trip to Hood River and spent some time with the sherrif, got to meet some of the Crag Rats and extend our deep gratitude for everything they have done. It was such an awesome trip and something I know that I needed. I am not a climber, just a recreational hiker but I know that Brian was with me the two days we spent hiking on Mt. Hood. I cannot express what a beautiful Moutain it is. I miss Brian every day and not a day goes by where he doesn't pop into my mind. There was a group of us from high school who were very close and still are to this day. Even though I didn't talk to Brian every day and maybe months would go by without an email I feel like I lost a brother.
Please keep the rescuers in your prayers as they are making another attempt to find Brian and Jerry

I'm so sorry to the families of Jerry & Brian that they did not find them or any clues on the mountain this weekend. I have been praying for the past few months and especially during the last 3 days that they would be found.

Please know many people are still praying for these two men, and for you - the families. You are still very prominent in our minds & hearts. I hope knowing this gives you some sort of comfort during your grieving process, that we have not forgotten about you.

Thoughts & prayers from Iowa.
